Job Title: Food Truck All-Rounder

About Shackehlicious

Shackehlicious is a stationary food truck serving up burgers, crepes, milkshakes and quesadillas. We’re a laid-back, family-friendly spot to eat, relax and make memories.

We’re located 5 minutes south of Red Deer on Range Road 273. Just east of Gasoline Alley on the east side of HWY 2.

Job Summary

This role will support the daily operations of Shackehlicious, including customer service, food and drink service, cleaning and maintenance of indoor and outdoor spaces and production gardening that supports our menu.

You’ll be the welcoming first face when folks arrive at the food truck – answering questions and taking orders. You’ll enter orders accurately into the POS system and communicate important information with the Chef. When orders are ready, you’ll call the names or use the buzzers when it’s busy.

You’re the main milkshake maker, blending up goodness with only 3 ingredients – milk, ice cream and Shack-made sauces. You’ll support with basic food preparation and finishing details on menu food items.

Keeping things clean and inviting is a big part of the role. You’ll maintain the food truck service area and all public-facing spaces – wiping tables, restocking and tidying the ‘Sell Shack’, organizing games areas and other cleaning duties as needed.

You’ll also be helping with our production garden that supports the food truck menu. This will include planting, watering, weeding and harvesting. Mowing the grass using the ride-on mower will be required occasionally as well.

There’s no expectation you know how to do everything on day one – we will provide on-the-job training for all tasks. We’re looking for someone with a great attitude who’s ready to work hard and be a part of the team.
